Education & Prevention
As a practice, we are true believers that preventive care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “dental health care” vs. “disease care.” That’s why we focus on thorough exams — checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease.
Uncompromising Safety
Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

Dr. Stephen A. Zent
Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After attending Bishop Dwenger High School, Dr. Zent received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Indiana University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from IUSD.
Dr. Sheena K. Zent
Born in Cookeville, Tennessee and a graduate of Clay High School in South Bend. Dr. Zent received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from IUSD.
Dr. Tracy Kelsey
Elkhart-raised, Tufts School of Dental Medicine grad with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Boston. ADA, IDA, and NCDA member — and a certified Invisalign provider.
Mary-Margaret
20+ years in the dental field and a self-described “dental nerd.” A loyal University of Michigan and Detroit Lions fan who spends fall watching her teams or antiquing with her husband Lewis.
Maiya
Mishawaka-born, in dentistry since 2020. Loves making patients comfortable, chasing sunshine with her kids, and live music — especially Taylor Swift.
Tina
Michigan City native who raised three kids in Florida and earned her Health Administration degree there. In dentistry since 2021 and happiest at a live music show.
